Secured: The Kensington Building

Commercial Interior Designers, Thirdway, has contracted Blou Dynamic to deliver feature wall panelling and doorsets to the 4th floor of the award-winning The Kensington Building, on Kensington High Street, London. The project will see Blou Dynamic return to the building having delivered the main works with ISG in 2022.

Blou Dynamic will work alongside Thirdway and Architect, Pilbrow & Partners, to develop the design in-house. The works will then be manufactured at BD’s Joinery Factory in Kent and delivered to site for installation by BD’s workforce.

The works comprise of Ash-slatted feature wall panelling with 5 variations of colour stains, top coated with Euro Class B FR Lacquer, matching the panelling installed to the building’s reception area during the main works. The scope also includes Tabu-veneered concealed doors incorporated into the wall panelling, a trough ceiling including structural Unistrut support system, all finished in Euro Class B FR Lacquer and factory spray painted fire doorsets with ironmongery, supplied by 3v Ironmongery.
