Progress: South Molton Street

Blou Dynamic was appointed by Curo Construction in 2024 to deliver the structural carpentry scope to a vast mixed-use development on South Molton Street. The development will create new offices, new homes and a hotel framed by wide pedestrian-friendly routes and public spaces, new shops, restaurants and cafes.

The project sees Blou Dynamic work with Curo and Elliot Wood (Structural Engineer) once again across 15nr units on the Mayfair street, the scope features the following:

• Sensitive repairs and strengthening works to Grade II Listed roofs following extensive timber condition surveys carried out by BD Site Management.

• Construction of new timber roofs, including forming of dormers and gutters.

• Timber joisted floors throughout the units and terraces, including strengthening existing floor constructions.

• Levelling of existing joisted floors.

• Repair and replacement of existing timber floorboards.

• Miscellaneous works such as refurbishment/strengthening of existing timber staircases and fireplace hearths.

Works commenced late 2024 and are progressing well. Our scope is due for completion late 2025.
